Phil is an accredited APECS Executive Coach and Member of the Association of Coaching. He is an NLP Practitioner and accredited to work with numerous psychometric assessments. He holds an MSc in Coaching and Consulting for Change from Oxford University SAID Business School and HEC in Paris.

A regular key note speaker at conferences, Phil presents on leadership, coaching and change. With his wife Wendy, he is Co-Founder of the international development organisation WeSeeHope and Chairman of the Hope Classic Rally. In 2017 their work was recognised by the British Prime Minister, conferring on them the Points of Light Award, and both were made MBE’s by the Queen in the 2021 New Years Honours list.
